A ministry of Smithtown Gospel Tabernacle since 1996, where
students and Leaders in Training participate in drama,
puppetry, and music. They assist Pastor Harff on outreaches
to:
-various churches
-The community
-Wherever God opens a door for them, locally or nationally
This 13-week curriculum, written by Pastor Dave Harff and
published in 1998 for children in grades 5 through 7, has
served churches from across the U.S. These churches have
purchased this missions curriculum and have used it to train
their students in evangelism and missions.
The curriculum consists of 3 phases.
The Classroom Phase
- 13 weeks of training by taking notes in their Student
Manuals. Some of the lessons topics are: What is a
missionary?, Short term missions, Geography and Personal
evangelism.
The Outreach Phase
- After the students complete their training, you have the
opportunity to use them on outreaches to other children and
service projects. This can be done at other churches, in
your church or where God opens doors.
The Challenge Phase -
As students are preparing to graduate
for their first, second or as an L.I.T., you have the
opportunity to challenge them to continue being a missionary
in their schools, a huge mission field.
